I am supporting adult clients; my main expertise is: Bereavement, Trauma, Loss and Suicide. I also help with dramatic life changes. My main modality is the Person-Centred & Integrative.
As a 77 years old psychotherapist my counselling is fused with my life experiences of living and working in 18 countries and rising four children and four grand-children.
About me and my practice
My therapeutic work reflects the Pluralistic approach (i.e., you decide and you lead) after all you are the main expert on yourself. My main support is to help you (to empower you) so you will gain confidence and strength to deal with your own goals and wishes.
I am also a retired management executive and I qualified as a Chartered Civil Engineer back in 1983 and worked in 18 countries around the world.
Since my retirement I have volunteered for the AGEUK and Cruse Bereavement Charities which helped me to get re-qualified as a counsellor and psychotherapist.
I am offering my counselling services and supervision to private clients as well as to companies. I have also 15 years experience volunteering for AgeUK and Cruse Bereavement Charities

Additional Information
I come to the UK as a student form Communist dictatorship of Czechoslovakia in 1969, just after the Russians invasion of my country. My initial experience of the real freedom and of the spirit of the 60s-70s was euphoric and I plunged head on to study Buddhism, Taoism, Yoga (Iyengar) and Traditional Chinese medicine. My main aim was to achieve enlightment. I failed and qualified as a Chartered Civil Engineer instead.
I returned to my effort to gain further understanding of human nature after my retirement and started serious study of the subject through philosophy, psychology and psychotherapy eventually gaining a full accreditation as a counsellor, psychotherapist and clinical supervisor.
I do belong to two Oxford based philosophy groups, and my main plans are to adapt the work of my favourite philosophers for the use in counselling. I specifically try for fusions(Assagioli Psychosynthesis)rather than divisions of various modalities.
